Background

Latin America and the Caribbean faces a persistent housing deficit driven by demographic, labor, and urban transformations, which continue to prevent large segments of the population from accessing adequate housing. In response, the Regional Housing Forum 2026 seeks to move from diagnosis to action by incorporating new measurement methodologies, emerging technologies, innovative housing production and financing models, and strategies to address both quantitative and qualitative housing deficits.

Building on prior regional housing forums, this event continues and strengthens those efforts, positioning itself as a key platform for advancing solutions to the region's housing challenge.
