Agenda Highlights
Day 1 - Monday 24
Plenary SessionsThe Forum will feature plenary sessions and special presentations with government leaders and business executives exploring macroeconomic trends, sectoral opportunities, and partnership models between Japan and Latin America and the Caribbean. Participants will also take part in structured networking activities designed for senior public- and private-sector stakeholders. Discussions and collaboration will focus on high-impact sectors where Japan–LAC cooperation can deliver scale:
Day 2 - Tuesday 25
Matchmaking SessionsParticipants are encouraged to register for Business Matchmaking Sessions connecting Japanese companies and investors with firms and Investment Promotion Agencies from Latin America and the Caribbean. Do you represent a Japanese company interested in trade opportunities? Contact: josecabrera@iadb.org Practical SeminarsParticipants will be able to attend practical seminars on accessing IDB-financed procurement opportunities through the BID for the Americas program and explore the Japan–LAC Business and Financial Partnership. Field Visits (Limited Spots)Participants from Latin America and the Caribbean will have the opportunity to visit Japanese organizations to gain first-hand exposure to technologies, business models, and operational practices relevant to the region. These visits aim to promote peer learning, inform business decisions, and strengthen connections between Japanese organizations and private-sector leaders from the region beyond the conference.
