Each year, the IDB Group takes stock of the results of the interventions it supports in the Development Effectiveness Overview (DEO), including where it has successfully met its strategic objectives and where gaps remain.

In 2022, some of the results supported by the IDB Group include:

  • 50 million beneficiaries of health services
  • 3.8 million micro, small, and medium enterprises financed
  • 1.7 million women beneficiaries of economic empowerment initiatives
  • 16,400 public officials trained in citizen security and justice
